Thai Massage Select is a global recognition programme for authentic and professional Thai massage businesses. It brings together clear assessment standards, business verification, a recognisable Thai Massage Select mark, digital verification tools and a global business directory — supported by participating associations, professionals and industry partners.
The platform serves both consumers and the Thai massage industry. Customers can discover businesses, view their recognition status and verify that status through Thai Massage Select. Businesses can demonstrate that they have met defined programme requirements, gain greater visibility and progress through higher recognition levels. Associations and industry professionals can contribute expertise and help strengthen shared standards for Thai massage internationally.

Aungkulee Lawler

Ana Malachowski
Owner, World Massage Festival and American Massage Championships

- Acquired the World Massage Festival from founder Mike Hinkle in 2024; the festival has run since 2006
- Served as assistant planner for the festival alongside Mike Hinkle for two years before the acquisition
- Founder of the California Massage Championships; Hall of Fame inductee, 2023

Chutima Hälg
Founder and President of the World Association of Nuad Thai & Spa (WANTS) / Owner and CEO of Chiida Spa Europe AG and Chiida Academy, Zurich, Switzerland
Key Achievements
- Born and raised in Bangkok; graduated with honours in Business Administration (Accounting) from Ramkhamhaeng University in three and a half years, then moved to Switzerland for a master's degree at the University of Zurich, followed by a 20-year managerial career in Zurich banking
- Founded Chiida Spa Switzerland in 2013, opening the first branch in downtown Zurich; today owns four luxury Thai spas across Switzerland
- Established Chiida Academy Zurich in 2016 — the first accredited Thai massage training centre abroad under Thailand's Ministry of Public Health
- Founded the Thai Massage and Spa Association in Switzerland (TSAS) to support Thai therapists working in the industry
- In July 2021, transformed the Nuad Thai and Spa Association in Europe into the World Association of Nuad Thai & Spa (WANTS), a Swiss-registered non-profit, serving as its Founder and President
- Has organised four editions of the World Nuad Thai Championship: 1st in Zurich, Switzerland (July 2022); 2nd in Tokyo, Japan (October 2023); 3rd in Krabi, Thailand (May 2024); and 4th at Thaphae Stadium, Chiang Mai (23 August 2025)
- Chiida Academy operates under Memorandums of Understanding with leading institutions including Wat Pho Thai Massage School, International Training Massage (ITM) School, ASCA Switzerland, the compliance centre of Thailand's Ministry of Public Health, as well as WMF, IMA, AMTC, ITA and AAA
- Author of the Chiida Nuad Thai – Traditional Thai Massage Learning Guidebook, published in both Thai and English
- Launched the Nuad International Camp Event (NICE 2024) in Samae San, Chonburi, Thailand, combining education, relaxation and cultural exchange
